Changes to the Millenium LCS roster

In light of the poor performance in the LCS recently, team Millenium, together with the players have decided to make a few changes to the roster, more specifically to remove Alvar “Araneae” Martin Aleñar (jungle), and replace him with the somewhat unknown player Markus “Kottenx” Tingvall. Tingvall’s most famous appearance in the competitive LoL-scene was during his time with Natus Vincere, a premier organization from Ukraine, and when he and his team “Samurai in Jeans” attempted to qualify for the LCS Summer Split 2013. When they failed to qualify, Markus paused his competitive career, and the rest of the team took different paths, two of the players (Joey “Youngbuck” Steltenpool and Petar “Unlimited” Georgiev) went on to for PrideFC (now Copenhagen Wolves).

Markus “Kottenx” Tingvall was also playing for Team Alternate (now Millenium), prior to their qualification for the LCS, so the team and him are not unfamiliar with eachother. All-in-all Kottenx have been playing for 9 teams in total, Team Mistral (Dec 2011 – Jan 2012), Absolute Legends (Jan 2012 – Feb 2012), Teamless (Apr 2012 – May 2012), Natus Vincere “NaVi” (May 2012 – Aug 2012), Team ElobLade/Alternate (Aug 2012 – Feb 2013), eSports4Life/Samurai in Jeans (Feb 2013 – May 2013) as well as team “Sju Sjösjuka Sjömän”, during Dreamhack Winter 2012.

As always, we here at RoughNeX wishes Markus and the renewed Millenium roster all the best during the LCS, and for the future!
